Once in a magical time, there was the sweetest little girl named Rebecca. She had a heart full of kindness and loved everything beautiful. But you know what made her heart dance with joy the most? Art! Ever since she was a little, tiny child, Rebecca’s biggest wish was to paint.
Every single day, like clockwork, she would pick up her paintbrush and create the most wonderful paintings. As the years tiptoed by, her love for painting grew and grew. But there was something funny – her paintings, though filled with love, looked a bit like drawings from a child. They never quite looked like the things she wanted them to be.
Each night, before she snuggled into her blankets, Rebecca would close her eyes and send a little prayer to the God. She wished, with all her might, to become a famous artist whose paintings would be loved by people all around the world. “Please,” she whispered, “let my art be as magical as the stars in the sky.”
And so, the years flowed like a river, bringing wrinkles to Rebecca’s hands and a sparkle of wisdom to her eyes. But guess what? Her paintings still looked like they were made by a child. Yet, she never gave up. She painted and she prayed, every single day.
Then, one day, her hands felt a bit tired, her eyes a bit sleepy, and her heart fluttered like a butterfly. Rebecca’s journey on Earth came to an end, and she found herself in a place more beautiful than any place she had ever imagined. It was like a dream filled with colors she had never seen before.
Right there, standing before her, was the Wisest Being of all. It was the Almighty, with eyes as warm as the sun and a smile as wide as the sky. Rebecca felt a mixture of shyness and awe, like when you meet someone very special.
With a gentle voice, she said, “Um, excuse me, if you don’t mind. I have a little question.” The Almighty nodded kindly, encouraging her to continue. “Why did you give me such a big love for art but not the skill to paint beautifully?”
The Almighty chuckled, a sound like the most joyful song. “Oh, Rebecca, didn’t you ask to be a famous artist?”
Rebecca nodded, “Yes, I did. But my paintings never turned out as wonderful as I wanted.”
The Almighty’s eyes twinkled like stars. “You see, my dear, I listened to every single one of your prayers. And every day, I took your paintings and turned them into the sunset. Those magnificent sunsets that paint the sky in the evening? That was your art, your love, and your dreams.”
Rebecca blinked, her heart fluttering like a butterfly’s wings. “Wait, you mean the sunsets were my paintings?”
The Almighty nodded with a smile as big as the universe. “Exactly! You were the artist behind every breathtaking sunset. Your love and passion became colors that filled the sky, and your art touched the hearts of everyone who saw it.”
Rebecca’s eyes widened, and she felt warmth spreading from her heart to her cheeks. “I was a famous artist after all,
The Almighty’s voice was like a soft melody. “Yes, my dear Rebecca, you were a world-famous artist even more famous than the world ever knew? Your art made the world more beautiful, one sunset at a time.”
And as the Almighty’s words wrapped around her like a cozy blanket, Rebecca realized that her art had been a gift to the world, more precious than she could have ever imagined. She had no words, she simply walked off onto her next journey knowing she accomplished everything she came to do on her last.
The End
